Clinton, WI- Republican Candidate for Secretary of State Amy Loudenbeck has issued the following statement after being declared the winning candidate in the Republican Primary Election.
“Wisconsin voters have taken the first step forward in the effort to restore purpose and respect to the Office of Secretary of State. I am grateful to everyone who chose me as the best candidate to take on a 44 year incumbent who has neglected the office for far too long.
“Thank you to my many supporters across the state, to my family and my team who helped make this primary election victory possible. We celebrate tonight’s win, and tomorrow we will be back to work sharing our message with voters across Wisconsin.
“Our mission going forward is clear and I am excited to continue building out my statewide network work to secure a win in November.
“I have a strong record of supporting conservative reforms, as well as a proven record of getting bills passed and working to address the many complex challenges facing our state. People are excited about the race for Secretary of State because they see an opportunity to add value and accountability and make the office work for Wisconsin again.
“Thank you for this primary victory. Now, it’s on to winning in November and flipping this office for the first time in nearly 50 years!”
