WISCONSIN — On June 22 in Madison, June 24 in Milwaukee and July 6 in Appleton Main Street Alliance is hosting a series of roundtables with candidates for the U.S. Senate. The organization will be joined by Lt. Gov Mandela Barnes, Alex Lasry, State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski, Outagamie Executive Tom Nelson, Steven Olikara, Peter Peckarsky, and Kou Lee.*
The purpose of these roundtables is to familiarize the candidates with issues impacting small business and to ask them questions about issues of importance to small businesses: health care, care economy (childcare & paid leave), capital access, tax fairness, and anti-monopoly. You can read more about our priorities here.
These discussions will be open to the media, but there will not be an opportunity for press questions during the event. Small business owners, organizational representatives, and candidates may be available for interviews before or after the event.
