Today, Deb Baldus McGrath became the first candidate to qualify for the ballot in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional district. Deb is a former Army Captain, CIA Officer, and mother of three from Menomonie.

“I am grateful for the hundreds of supporters, from all corners of the Third Congressional district, who signed their names to support my candidacy,” said Deb Baldus McGrath. “As a little girl, I remember going door to door with my father, Congressman Al Baldus, collecting signatures. To now have the same opportunity to fight for western central Wisconsinites is an honor. I thank our incredible volunteers for their tireless work, resulting in support that propelled us to be the first campaign to qualify for the ballot. This is a grassroots campaign that cares about every community.”

McGrath submitted well over the 1,000 required signatures nearly two weeks ahead of the deadline, which hailed from voters across the district, from Prairie du Chien to River Falls to Stevens Point.
