Menomonie, WI—Today, Foreign Policy for America wholeheartedly endorsed Deb Baldus McGrath for Congress in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional district. Deb is a former Army Captain, CIA Officer, and mother of three from Menomonie. Foreign Policy for America is a nonpartisan advocacy organization working to strengthen support for principled American engagement in the world.
“Deb is the kind of leader who will walk into Congress and have a powerful impact on Day One. Her experience in the Army and the CIA set her apart from partisan political types,” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “It’s not every day that we get to endorse someone with the depth of national security knowledge and experience as Deb McGrath has. That’s what makes her such a special leader, and that’s why we’re so proud to support her.”
“I have spent 25 years serving our nation at the tip of the spear as a Captain in the Army and Officer in the CIA,” said Deb Baldus McGrath. “I have stood up to tyranny and terrorism, always leading with a handshake rather than a fist. Now, as I fight for the security of families in western central Wisconsin, I am thrilled to have Foreign Policy for America by my side. I share their focus on diplomacy-first foreign policy, and am honored to have their endorsement in my campaign for Congress.”
Foreign Policy for America is the latest high profile endorsement for McGrath, who has the support of military, intelligence, and diplomatic groups including VoteVets, Honor Bound, New Politics, Serve America, The Steady State, and more.
