Menomonie, WI—Today, former La Crosse County Board Chair Tara Johnson endorsed Deb Baldus McGrath in her campaign for Wisconsin’s third Congressional District. Deb is a former Army Captain, CIA officer, and working mother of three. Johnson served on the La Crosse County board for 20 years.

“I am proud to endorse Deb Baldus McGrath for Congress – she has all the right stuff,” said Tara Johnson, former La Crosse County Board Chair. “She is a proven leader who keeps me optimistic in these uncertain times. As a working mom, Deb spent her life serving our country and she was a pioneer for women in national security.  Deb knows that building peace and shared prosperity (here at home and abroad) requires integrity, good sense and a commitment to fair systems that work for everyone.  Now more than ever we need Deb McGrath in Congress – she will fight not just for some of us but for all of us.”

“I am honored to be endorsed by former La Crosse County Board Chair Tara Johnson,” said Deb Baldus McGrath. “I am inspired by Tara’s advocacy for the people of La Crosse and grateful to have her support as I fight for lower prescription drug costs, affordable healthcare, a living wage for every worker, and clean energy investments to create good paying jobs for Wisconsin’s third Congressional District.”
