Menomonie, WI—Today, Deb Baldus McGrath announced the highest Q2 raise of any democratic primary candidate for Wisconsin’s third Congressional District. McGrath reported raising more than $192,000, outpacing her closest primary opponent by over $63,000. McGrath benefitted from a strong grassroots support base, with 78% of supporters contributing less than $100.

“I want to thank each and every voter and volunteer who has supported our campaign during these past months,” said Deb Baldus McGrath. “Because of you, we are approaching the primary election with the critical resources we need to reach voters across Wisconsin’s third Congressional district. I’m ready to get to work for lower prescription drug prices, combating inflation, and advocating for women’s right to choose in Congress. I am privileged to have so many Wisconsinites standing by my side in this fight.”

The news comes as McGrath’s campaign is riding a swell of momentum with the recent release of a new ad highlighting her experience in the Army and featuring her jumping out of an airplane. McGrath has earned endorsements from over half of the Eau Claire City Council, Stevens Point Council President Meleesa Johnson, multiple La Crosse County Board members, and national groups including VoteVets, Serve America, Elect Democratic Women, and more.
