GOP guv candidate Tim Michels is up with a new ad that knocks President Biden for halting construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
Michel’s campaign said the nearly $1 million buy will run on cable statewide, along with satellite, streaming and digital. The ads will also run on broadcast in the Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Wausau/Rhinelander and La Crosse/Eau Claire markets.
In the ad, Michels notes his construction company was helping to build the line when Biden canceled it because he was “afraid to offend the liberals.”
“Biden killed hundreds of jobs, sent gas prices way up, making everything more expensive,” Michels says in the ad. “Only a career politician can make such a mess of things.”
Michel’s continues, “As governor, I’ll fight to make sure you keep more of your money, and I don’t care who I offend to do it.”
