WEST ALLIS, Wisc. – All across the Northwoods, Wisconsin voters came to see, hear and talk to Tim Michels this week. Michels, the veteran Army Ranger and successful conservative businessman, made stops in 11 communities, where he shared his blueprint for Wisconsin and heard concerns from hardworking, taxpaying citizens who are often ignored by the professional political class.

Our Green Bay campaign headquarters served as the launching point for the Michels Freedom Tour. There, Tim spoke about the importance of the tour and how he’ll a governor for all of Wisconsin.

From there, we embarked on our first stop of the tour in Oconto.  They were fired up to replace Tony Evers with a proven leader who will show up when needed and understands every job is essential.
We made our way to Crivitz, where an enthusiastic crowd greeted Tim and his family. They discussed the growing pressures of the Biden-Evers economy.
In Crandon, the crowd agreed that if we want to stop politics as usual, we need to stop voting for the usual politicians.
We stopped in Rhinelander and discussed how tourism, a vital sector in Wisconsin’s diverse economy, was battered by Tony Evers’ big-government shutdown. The crowd agreed we have to elect a governor that knows every business, every job, and every sector is essential.
Our grassroots momentum continues to surge all across Wisconsin and that could not have been more true when Tim spoke in Minocqua. It was a tremendous event to end the tour’s first day.
The second day of our northern Wisconsin tour began in Ashland, where over sixty voters came to discuss the need for proven, conservative executive leadership in Madison.
Spooner was excited to hear from and speak with Tim, including a former Tomb Sentinel with the “Old Guard” at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The two traded some stories and reminisced about the height requirement for duty. Tim is proud to have served as Honor Guard Commander and he will be just as honored to serve Wisconsin as its next governor.
We then visited Rice Lake, where Tim spoke about economic uncertainty facing families and businesses across Wisconsin. While driven by the spike in the cost of gas and groceries, the supply chain and labor shortage is also squeezing communities across the state.
Tim engaged with the people of Hudson, and promised he would be a governor who will understand the unique needs of every area of the state.
We finished our tour across northern Wisconsin at a great meet-up in Eau Claire, where supporters and voters were fired up for new leadership and to get Wisconsin back on the right track.
Our grassroots momentum continues to surge all across the state thanks to the support of the hard-working, tax-paying, law-abiding voters of Wisconsin. Together, we will beat Tony Evers, bring proven, conservative, executive leadership to Madison, and get Wisconsin headed on the right track.
