WEST ALLIS, Wisc. – The Michels for Governor campaign released the following statement in response to the Democratic Party declining to appeal WEC’s unanimous and bipartisan decision:
“Every step of the way our nomination papers were approved. 3,861 signatures were deemed valid by WEC staff —twice—and by a 6-0 bipartisan decision by the Wisconsin Election Commissioners. The complaint was frivolous from the start. It just took some in the media and the Dem Party longer to figure that out.”
