|WEST ALLIS, Wisc. – This week, the Wisconsin Troopers Association announced its endorsement of Tim Michels for Governor of Wisconsin.|
“We need to recognize and value candidates who prioritize reducing crime and increasing public safety for all who live, work and travel our state,” said WTA Executive Director Matt Johnson. “From his commitment to funding additional police officers to his plan to reduce all types of crime, Tim Michels will work with us to improve safety in Wisconsin.”
From letting Kenosha burn to releasing some of Wisconsin’s worst offenders, Tony Evers has failed to keep Wisconsin communities safe – letting violent crime rise to historic levels across our state. This announcement, which follows endorsements by the Milwaukee Police Association and Kenosha Professional Police Association, further showcases consensus from law-enforcement officers across Wisconsin that it’s time for new, proven executive leadership in the governor’s office.
“I’m honored to have received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Troopers Association, said Michels. “The men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line every day for law-abiding families across Wisconsin. They deserve leadership that works as hard as they do and has their back. I look forward to working with law enforcement to provide that needed, proven executive leadership as governor.
Tim Michels stands with law enforcement and will bring the strong leadership needed to keep Wisconsin safe. Read his Back the Blue-Print here.
