Republican Tim Michels has launched the third ad of his guv campaign, vowing that “the lobbyists are not going to like me at all.”

The Michels campaign said it is spending $980,000 on TV over the next week. That matches what it spent each of the first two weeks of his campaign.

In the spot, Michels is driving a car as he tells viewers he scratches his head at career politicians who “get in there and they just never want to leave.” He vows to “give this my all for four years” and will do his best for the greater good of all Wisconsinites, not the special interests.

“I think the lobbyists are not going to like me at all,” Michels said. “They’re going to be very frustrated. I’m not beholden to them. Didn’t take any money from them. Won’t take any money from them. I’m going to do what’s right for all the people of Wisconsin.”
