WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Justice for Brieon Green Coalition will be holding a rally and picket outside of Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department (515 W Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188). This rally and picket will be held on Friday, November 18, at 3:15PM.
It has almost been 5 months since the death of Brieon Green while being detained in Milwaukee County Jail. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has not provided any answers to Green’s family as to why or how he died. The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department has been tasked to investigate Green’s death, but they also have not provided the family any answers. Instead of transparency, both departments are holding up the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s death report and have informed the Green family and their lawyers that they are seeking legal counsel.
This event will be a follow up to the rally outside of the MCSO last month. Green’s family is demanding transparency and deserves to know how and why Brieon died. This is important for finding closure. The Justice for Breon Green Coalition stands firmly with Green’s family and will continue demanding justice for Brieon Green.
