MILWAUKEE, WI – Earlier this evening Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley received a COVID-19 exposure notification. Upon receiving the notice, the County Executive promptly administered an at-home test, which showed he was positive for COVID-19.

Currently, he is isolating, monitoring for symptoms and will test regularly.

“I am appreciative of the notification system that alerted me to the exposure, and was fortunate enough to have access to testing,” said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. “I urge all Milwaukee County residents to continue to be vigilant in protecting themselves and their families against the virus, and please get vaccinated and/or boosted.”

County Executive Crowley will no longer appear at the Community Health and Healing Men’s Yoga Event scheduled for June 30 at 8 AM in Washington Park. The event is still scheduled to take place.

In addition, he will no longer attend the Jackson Park neighborhood walk hosted by Sup. Burgelis.

Lastly, the McKinley Beach restoration and safety improvements bill signing scheduled for June 30 at 1PM is canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
