Milwaukee, WI — Milwaukee County Supervisor Deanna Alexander has issued a statement in response to the news that Wisconsin State Senator Alberta Darling is resigning on December 1st:
Alberta set the standard for a lifetime of meaningful impactful service. She successfully pursued issues close to her heart and important to her constituency. She holds her ground on tough topics and has won election after election, including prevailing against the left’s notorious recall attempts. Knowing her optimism and her commitment to our great state, I know it was bittersweet for her to decide that it is now time to retire. I hope to continue our positive relationship as she takes her next steps.
