MILWAUKEE – Gov. Tony Evers will be the featured guest at a Newsmaker Luncheon set for noon on Tuesday, October 11, hosted by the Milwaukee Press ClubWisPolitics.com and Rotary Club of Milwaukee. The event will be held at the Milwaukee Country War Memorial Center, 750 N Lincoln Memorial Drive.

Evers is seeking election to a second four-year term as Wisconsin’s governor, and is opposed by Republican businessman Tim Michels. [The Michels campaign has not responded to an invitation to be the featured guest at a Newsmaker Luncheon prior to the General Election November 8.]

Evers will take questions from a panel of journalists and from the audience at the luncheon, to be moderated by Milwaukee Press Club Past President Corrinne Hess, reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
