MILWAUKEE – Charles Franklin, Professor of Law and Public Policy and director of the Marquette Law School Poll, will be the featured guest at a Newsmaker Luncheon set for noon on Thursday, March 3, hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club and

Franklin will present an overview of Wisconsin politics for the 2022 election cycle and analyze the findings of his most recent poll, set for release March 2.  Those results will detail specific match-ups of candidates in Wisconsin’s gubernatorial and U.S. Senate races. Franklin has been director of the law school poll since its inception in 2012. Since then, the poll has been recognized as the definitive source for information about public opinion in Wisconsin.

Franklin will take questions from a panel of journalists and from the audience at the luncheon, to be moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Corrinne Hess, reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio. The event is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub, 137 E. Wells St.
