The Milwaukee Press Club will hold a trivia event with trivia guru and host Milwaukee Journal Sentinel sports reporter JR Radcliffe from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24 at the Newsroom Pub. Journalists, public relations professionals and others are encouraged to form teams and participate.

Proceeds will go toward the Milwaukee Press Club and the MPC Endowment. The endowment was established in 1973 to promote the advancement of journalism excellence. The endowment provides scholarships, funds journalism-related education programs and has established its own funds, including the Don Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Eric Miller PantherVision Scholarship Fund, the Tim Cuprisin Memorial Fund and a scholarship fund in honor of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Meg Jones. A new fund was launched in memory of former Milwaukee Sentinel editor Robert H. Wills.

To participate, register here with a team of up to eight people. Teams should come up with a team name to use at registration. If you do not have a team, MPC can place you on a team.

The cost to participate is $20 for MPC members and $25 for non-members. A taco bar will be included in the cost to attend. Cash bar with half-price drink specials until 7 p.m. Seating is limited.

Register now, and start studying!

Special thanks to the Safe House/Newsroom Pub, home of the Milwaukee Press Club, for hosting the trivia event. Think of the Newsroom Pub for your next private party! MPC members can book a room at no charge.
