NEENAH, Wis. (July 18, 2022) – On Tuesday, July 19 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., the Multicultural Coalition, Inc. (MCI) will hold a free COVID-19 vaccination event at the Neenah Public Library, located at 240 E. Wisconsin Ave. in Neenah (map).

 

“We know the library is a spot where many families and children gather during the summer months,” explained Ernesto Gonzalez, MCI board member and president of Casa Hispana Inc. “We have seen a lot of success by bringing these vaccination clinics to the people, especially at the local libraries, and we’re excited to be back again to offer these resources.”

 

The event will offer vaccinations for those ages six-months and older. First, second and/or booster shots will be provided. ID and health insurance are not required.

 

These community-led events feature:

  • Interpreters for those who speak Hmong and/or Spanish
  • Snacks
  • Free books for kids
  • Diapers and personal hygiene products for those who need them

The vaccination clinic at the Neenah Public Library will be hosted by multiple community partners including Multicultural Coalition, Inc., Red Shoes Inc., Partnership Community Health Center, N.E.W. Hmong Professionals, Casa Hispana Inc., United Way Fox Cities, CAP Services, RISE, Valley Transit, Neenah Public Library, Harbor House, People of Progression, AMI, LEAVEN, Winnebago Area Literacy Council, Piña Limón, Youth Go, Building for Kids and Heckrodt Wetland Reserve and Bergstrom-Mahler Museum.
