Appleton, Wis. – Outagamie County Executive and pro-labor populist U.S. Senate candidate Tom Nelson today released his second garage sale digital campaign ad.

Nelson said, “Unfortunately, I can’t write million dollar checks to my campaign as a mostly lifelong resident of the Fox Valley without many billionaire friends. So I’m breaking out the dinosaur toys again to fund my grassroots campaign. I am proud to be raising money the grassroots way, with much of our money coming from local Wisconsinites and none from corporate PACs.”

Garage Sale 2:

TOM: Hey, Tom Nelson here.

TOM: A lot has changed since I started my campaign for the U.S. Senate last year. Except for one thing and that’s the belief that your vote is for sale. Well, it’s not.

TOM: I’m not a millionaire, I’m not a billionaire. I don’t have millions to “invest” in my campaign. And so that’s why I’m holding another garage sale!

TOM: This race shouldn’t be a coronation. Thus race should be a contest of ideas. And we think we have the right ideas.

TOM: Look, it’s not going to be easy to beat Ron Johnson. But if we want big change, we’re going to have to give a little. To take on and beat the billionaires and special interests who stand in our way.

TOM: Okay first up is this UAW sign to stop Oshkosh Defense Corp. from hiring 1,000 workers in anti-union South Carolina to make the next generation of Postal Service vehicles.

TOM: Alright, next up, oh it’s a favorite, the dinosaurs. $10 dollars. Each.

TOM: And these stickers. Brand new stickers from the campaign, $5 each, 3 for $15.

TOM: This has always been a people-powered campaign so please give what you can. Because with a Senate that’s divided 50/50, this race is for all the cheeseballs.
