Neubauer to appoint Meyers to Joint Finance Committee

Incoming Assembly Minority Leader Greta Neubauer, D-Racine, announced this afternoon she is appointing outgoing Rep. Beth Meyers, D-Ashland, to the Joint Finance Committee.
Meyers, who announced last week she won’t seek reelection this fall, fills Neubauer’s spot on the committee for the remainder of the session.
Outgoing Minority Leader Gordon Hintz, D-Oshkosh, appointed Neubauer to the Joint Finance Committee at the start of the 2021-23 session. His last day as minority leader is today, while Neubauer officially takes over as caucus leader tomorrow.
