Milwaukee, WI — To highlight Senator Ron Johnson’s false claim that climate change is “bullsh*t,” NextGen PAC and MoveOn are launching events in Milwaukee on Thursday, September 29, to expose Johnson’s harmful views and take action on climate change. The events will center around an unveiling of a life-size sculpture of Johnson made of manure – a “scatue” – that will be toured around the city.

Grassroots activists and leaders will use the “scatue” to communicate with voters about Senator Johnson’s positions on environmental issues that impact Wisconsinites, and to support Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes in the U.S. Senate race against Johnson in the November elections.

Speakers at the events include NextGen PAC Wisconsin State Director Sonja Chojnacki, MoveOn Campaign Manager Alexis Martinez, and MoveOn Field Manager Durrel Douglas.

Members of the media are encouraged to RSVP. For more information on logistics, please contact
