One Nation, an issue advocacy group aligned with Senate Republicans, launched a new inflation-focused ad praising Johnson for “working to stop the waste in Washington.”
The group secured a nearly $9 million buy in Wisconsin through Labor Day, and this is the sixth ad the group has run in the state. It will run on broadcast, cable TV, radio and digital platforms.
The latest ad features a couple identified as Steven and Burdie, of Wauwatosa.
They say they worked hard for decades and thought their retirement was secure, but “inflation is changing everything” and they worry about the debt “we’re leaving our grandchildren.”
Steven says Johnson understands “we must get spending under control.”
He later ends the spot, “Tell Senator Johnson to keep fighting for Wisconsin seniors and the next generation.”
