LA CROSSE — Today, State Senator and nominee for Congress Brad Pfaff announced that the Blue Dog PAC had endorsed his campaign for Congress.
Committed to putting constituents over political parties, the Blue Dog Coalition supports commonsense, moderate candidates who are committed to pursuing fiscally-responsible policies, ensuring a strong national defense, and transcending party lines to do what’s best for the American people.
“I’m honored to have the support of the Blue Dog PAC in this fight to bring commonsense solutions to Washington, not partisan politics,” said Brad Pfaff. “We need more rural voices at the policymaking table, and I’m running to do just that. With the Blue Dogs’ endorsement, we’ll give western Wisconsinites the voice in Congress they deserve.”
“The Blue Dogs are proud to support candidates who aren’t blindly ideological or beholden to any one party’s leadership, but who instead represent the people first,” said Rep. Kurt Schrader, Blue Dog PAC Chair. “For over 20 years – through Democratic and Republican majorities – the Blue Dogs have consistently worked with members of both parties to offer commonsense solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing our country. We are proud to support Brad Pfaff and other candidates who are committed to promoting positions which bridge the gap between ideological extremes.”
The Blue Dog PAC is the latest in a long line of supporters — including the BlueGreen Alliance, NSL4A, JDCA, Planned Parenthood, NARAL, WI AFL-CIO, the NewDems Action Fund, United Rural Democrats, and LCV Action Fund — who are lining up to support Brad’s campaign for Congress.
