LA CROSSE — Yesterday, State Senator and nominee for Congress Brad Pfaff demonstrated his willingness to fight for working families and discuss the kitchen table issues that matter most to them by issuing a debate challenge to his opponent, Derrick Van Orden. Today, Brad accepted an invitation from the UW-La Crosse debate coalition to participate in a debate on the UW-La Crosse campus.

“I’m not afraid of voters in this district and I’m eager to participate in an intellectual discussion on real issues and real solutions,” said Brad Pfaff. “In response to my challenge, Derrick said he would ‘gladly’ put his record against mine — here’s his chance to prove to voters that he isn’t afraid of them and of accountability. The people of this district deserve real leadership, so I urge Derrick to join me in accepting this invitation.”

Brad was proud to accept this debate invitation, but he knows that voters deserve more than just one hour-long discussion of the challenges they are facing, which is why Brad called for three separate debates hosted in La Crosse, Eau Claire and Stevens Point.
