LA CROSSE — Today, State Senator and nominee for Congress Brad Pfaff slammed Madison Republicans for hiding at home while Wisconsinites with diabetes suffer from soaring insulin costs.

“Madison Republicans love to talk about problems, but when the time comes to pass Gov. Evers’ plan that would cut taxes and cap insulin prices — by all accounts a no-brainer budget plan — they are nowhere to be found,” said Brad Pfaff. “This fight is personal to me because my son has struggled with Type I diabetes almost his entire life, which is why as State Senator I’ve fought to lower health care costs, and as Congressman, I won’t rest until insulin is accessible and affordable no matter where you live.”

While Republicans in Madison and his opponent are busy talking about problems, Brad is focused on solutions. Last week, Brad released a plan to cut costs across the board by fixing our supply chains and investing in domestic manufacturing. As State Senator, he introduced legislation to create Wisconsin’s first-ever Office of Prescription Drug Affordability, and voted in favor of the 2021-2023 state budget signed into law by Governor Evers that included a more than $2 billion tax cut.
