LA CROSSE — Today, State Senator and nominee for Congress Brad Pfaff met with La Crosse seniors to discuss threats to Social Security, how to expand access to affordable health care, and how to prioritize western and central Wisconsin in Congress.

“Wisconsinites of all ages are facing rising costs across the board, and to make matters worse, radicals like Derrick Van Orden are running to gut Social Security and Medicare. Well today I stood with La Crosse seniors to say that we’re going to protect these programs and drive down costs,” said Brad Pfaff. “These La Crosse residents have worked hard their entire lives, and now their hard-earned benefits are at risk. Unlike my opponent, I’m running to protect Social Security, expand affordable health care access, and bring western Wisconsin values to Congress.”

Brad knows that access to quality and affordable health care continues to be one of the biggest challenges facing Wisconsin families, and especially for our senior communities. We must continue to level the playing field by increasing access to quality care and lowering costs for everyone. Brad knows that we have no time to waste when it comes to healthy communities. That’s why as State Senator, Brad has introduced legislation in the State Senate to create Wisconsin’s first-ever Office of Prescription Drug Affordability, and why he will always protect Social Security.
