MILWAUKEE (June 1, 2022) – The Real Estate Alliance for Charity (REACH) today opened applications for both its Charitable Giving Program and its High Impact Grant program. The programs will provide more than $45,000 this year to local charities that are working to enhance the lives of children and families in Southeast Wisconsin.

REACH is the primary charitable organization for the commercial real estate community in southeast Wisconsin and is supported by a partnership of allied real estate associations, including BOMA, CARW, CCIM, NAIOP, SIOR, IREM and WCREW, as well as hundreds of local companies and individuals. Since 1998, the organization has donated more than $825,000 to approximately 70 local charities. Funds are allocated to Southeast Wisconsin nonprofit organizations that provide services and places that allow children and families to feel safe, grow educationally and get the support needed to succeed in life.

“Through both our annual Charitable Giving Program and our ongoing High Impact Grant program, REACH aims to have a significant impact on smaller organizations that are sometimes overlooked by larger foundations and programs,” said Elizabeth Pancratz, REACH president and Founders 3 marketing director. “We are thrilled to open applications for both programs and encourage organizations in need to submit an application for consideration.”

REACH’s Charitable Giving Program provides a $12,500 grant annually for three years to three local organizations. Each organization is guaranteed a three-year commitment, for a total donation of $37,500 each. The application window runs from June 1 through August 5. Current recipients of this program include All-In-Milwaukee, Blessings in a Backpack – Waukesha Chapter and Pathfinders Milwaukee.

The organization’s High Impact Grant is a small grant program designed for quick-response, one-time needs and opportunities. Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded for eligible projects and activities, and applications are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis. Recent recipients of High Impact Grants include Prevent Blindness, Journey House and Project Concern & CSFI Program for the Elderly.
