Recently, my office learned that Governor Evers has directed grant money to Planned Parenthood through Federal funds in direct contravention of Wisconsin Statute 20.9275 (2).
In light of the facts, Representative Allen sent the attached letter to Governor Evers today and released the following statement:
“No one is above the law of Wisconsin. Governor Evers must be held to the same laws as everyone else in Wisconsin. He may not like the law, but it is the law, and hopefully, Governor Evers will correct this violation and ensure that no further violations occur.
“It is especially troubling that Governor Evers would violate state law to support an organization that continues to deny the most basic right: the right to life.”
