Assembly Joint Committee on Finance (JFC) Co-Chair Mark Born (R-Beaver Dam) released the following statement in response to Speaker Robin Vos appointing the Assembly Vice-Chair and members of JFC:
“The newly-announced Assembly JFC membership is a strong team that is well-positioned to continue responsible fiscal management for the taxpayers of Wisconsin. For over a decade, Wisconsin Republicans have been working to lower the tax burden, including the largest tax cut in state history in our most recent budget, while investing in key programs that make our state a great place to live and work.
“I look forward to working with our returning members, including with Representative Katsma as Vice-Chair, and our newest member, Representative Dallman, to craft a budget that funds the priorities of Wisconsinites, while returning more money to the hard-working taxpayers of this state.”
