JANESVILLE – Yesterday, Representatives Sue Conley (D-Janesville) and Mark Spreitzer (D-Beloit) presented a legislative citation on behalf of themselves and Senator Janis Ringhand (D-Evansville) to the Janesville League of Women Voters in honor of Rock County election staff and volunteers. The citation also recognizes Janesville City Clerk-Treasurer Lori Stottler, who has administered numerous elections in Rock County.
The Janesville League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization that serves Janesville, Milton, Edgerton, and Evansville. The League works to support our democracy through voter education and advocacy for the protection of voting rights. Poll workers and volunteers often work long hours to safely and securely conduct elections.
Sen. Ringhand and Reps. Conley and Spreitzer were proud to recognize and give thanks to local election workers and volunteers for their contributions to our community and democracy.
