Madison, Wis. – State Representative Barbara Dittrich (R-Oconomowoc) announced she has been tapped to serve as the chair of the Assembly Committee on Insurance for the 2023-2024 legislative session.

“I am grateful to Speaker Vos for placing his faith in my leadership to chair this committee as well as to assign me two vice-chair positions. My personal as well as professional life experiences will be put to good use for the people of Wisconsin. I look forward to stepping into these roles and tackling the state’s challenges in the upcoming session,” shared Rep. Dittrich.

Rep. Dittrich was additionally appointed to serve as Vice-Chair of the Education Committee, Vice-Chair of the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention Committee. She will continue to serve on the Children & Families, Health, Aging, & Long-Term Care, and Ways & Means Committees.

“Being able to serve on these committees in these capacities will provide great continuity for the legislative process and address ongoing issues as we work to improve our state going forward,” concluded Rep. Dittrich.
