MADISON – Assembly Assistant Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein released the following statement thanking Representative Beth Meyers for her outstanding service to the state of Wisconsin:
“Representative Meyers has always been a pleasure to work with. Her honesty and integrity have been valuable assets to our caucus and her constituency. Representative Meyers was clear in her determination to advocate for the people of northern Wisconsin and ensure their views were considered and reflected in the policy-making process.
“I always admired the commitment Representative Meyers has to her community and the people of our state. Making the long journey from Bayfield to Madison on a weekly basis never deterred her joyful persona and devotion to bringing people together over common ideas.
“Representative Meyers has always used her steady and strong voice to educate us on the importance of what northern Wisconsin has to offer. I look forward to her continued service through this current session.”
