MIDDLETON – State Representative Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton) released a statement today upon the announcement from State Representative Sondy Pope (D – Mount Horeb) that she would not be seeking reelection:
“I want to thank Sondy for her years of service to her community and to Wisconsin. She is a true champion of public education and worked tirelessly to improve educational opportunities for all Wisconsinites. At every hearing of the Assembly Committee on Education Sondy brought her intellect, determination, and sharp wit. She was never one to back down from a fight.
“I wish Sondy the very best in her retirement.”
