Although I am grateful for this potential step, I am alarmed at the leaking of a draft opinion from our highest court. We may disagree upon decisions, but we all place our trust in the court as the third check on our government. The Supreme Court is designed to rise above the political divide and should not be subject to schemes solely for political gain. We must not allow America to go down this dangerous path and this disgraceful act to become precedent.”
