MADISON – Today, Representative Gordon Hintz announced his intention not to run for re-election. Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer (D-Racine) released the following statement in response:
“I want to sincerely thank Representative Hintz for his years of service to our caucus and to Wisconsin. Gordon has been an invaluable mentor to me and many others over the years. He has invested deeply in the success of our caucus and supported us to be united in the face of increasing attacks on our democracy and efforts to roll back progress.
“I also want to thank all of the staff who have served in the Hintz office over the last several years. They have thoughtfully led the caucus in navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and supported all of us to be successful in our ongoing work.
“I am deeply thankful to have served alongside Representative Hintz in the fight for a better Wisconsin, and I wish him well in his next endeavors.”
