Madison, WI – Representative Loren Oldenburg (R-Viroqua) congratulates the Tainter Creek Farmer–Led Watershed Council, the Bad-Axe Farmer-Led Watershed Council, and the Coon Creek Community Watershed Council on being awarded Producer-Led Watershed Protection Grants.  

“I want to thank everyone involved with these watershed organizations for your hard work, and dedication to clean water and healthy watersheds,” said Representative Oldenburg. “I look forward to continuing to work with your organizations, and wish you good luck in the future.”

Representative Oldenburg is proud to have supported funding for these grants in the Wisconsin State Budget, and will continue to advocate for clean water, and healthy watersheds. The Tainter Creek Farmer-Led Watershed Council was awarded $24,400, The Bad-Axe Farmer-Led Watershed Council was awarded $20,000, and The Coon Creek Community Watershed Council was awarded $30,800.
