Madison – State Representative Sara Rodriguez (D-Brookfield) issued the following statement on Hispanic Heritage Month:
“Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to learn about and celebrate the long and storied history of Latinos in Wisconsin. This is a special time of the year for my family—my husband and children are proud Latino Wisconsinites. This month reaffirms that diversity is one of our greatest strengths, as we celebrate and honor the legacy and contributions of Latinos in our state who are an integral part of Wisconsin’s culture and character.
