Madison—State Representative Sara Rodriguez (D-Brookfield) issued the following statement celebrating the beginning of Women’s History Month:
“Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate the achievements of women throughout history. In this month we celebrate the women who have led the way, and held the door open for others to follow in their footsteps. I know as a mom, and leader of a Girl Scout Troop, that when we honor the legacy of the women who came before us, we help girls see a brighter future beyond the dreams of our past and even our present.
Please join me in celebrating the countless contributions and achievements of women which have enriched our culture, state, nation, world, and the future we hold in common. Happy Women’s History Month Wisconsin!”
