GREEN BAY – Following the Senate’s passage of a bipartisan omnibus spending bill on Thursday, March 10th, State Rep Kristina Shelton (D – Green Bay) celebrated Senator Tammy Baldwin’s commitments to Wisconsin in securing federal funding for multiple projects in the state totaling over $187 million. On the bill’s passage, Rep Shelton offered the following statement:

“I am excited and proud of Senator Baldwin’s work to uplift Wisconsin’s priorities at the federal level. In the bill on the President’s desk are multiple initiatives that will better our community here in Green Bay – including $5 million for the Brown County Regional South Bridge Connector Project and $1 million for the Brown County United Way’s Neighborhood Community House.

“These projects are important investments in our community’s growth and continued wellbeing. Putting our state and federal dollars into our communities by completing these necessary projects shows our commitment to the people of Green Bay and Brown County. I look forward to seeing the positive outcomes from these initiatives for years to come!”
