Madison… Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) released the following statement regarding the announcement that Representative Cody Horlacher (R- Mukwonago) will not seek re-election to the State Assembly.

“I would like to thank Rep. Horlacher for eight years of service to the people of his Assembly district and all of Wisconsin. Cody has a long record of accomplishments, including legislation extending worker’s compensation coverage to paid EMS personnel who suffer from PTSD and allowing natural immunity as acceptable alternatives to vaccine requirements. He has been a strong advocate for criminal justice and has authored numerous bills for crime victims.

“He was first elected to the Assembly in 2014 and is the Vice-Chair of the Assembly of Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.

“I want to wish him and his family the very best in their future and Cody luck in the next chapter of his career, I think Cody will be a great judge.”
