Madison… Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) released the following statement regarding the announcement that Representative Tyler Vorpagel (R-Plymouth) will not seek re-election to the State Assembly.

“I would like to thank my friend and colleague for his service to the Wisconsin State Assembly. Tyler has been a strong fiscal conservative voice, and it’s been a privilege working with him to lead our 61-member caucus. The enthusiasm that he brought to the table was invaluable to the Assembly Republican leadership team and the entire caucus.

Tyler was first elected to the Assembly in 2015 and has helped represent the people of his district over the past 7 plus years by introducing numerous bills to help businesses and constituents of the 27th Assembly District.  He worked on issues ensuring businesses in Sheboygan County have the tools to grow their business and operate, and that air quality regulations accurately represent what is in the control of the county.  He made a point of recognizing members of his community for their accomplishments along with continuing to fight tirelessly to further conservative values and policies in the State.

“I want to wish him and his family the very best in their future and Tyler luck in the next chapter of his career.”
