BELOIT – Today, State Representative Mark Spreitzer’s campaign for the 15th State Senate District announced the endorsements of State Representative Don Vruwink (D-Milton) of the 43rd Assembly District and State Representative Sue Conley (D-Janesville) of the 44th Assembly District.

“I look forward to working together with Mark to represent our communities,” said Rep. Vruwink. “I know that Mark will be a strong voice for our constituents in the State Senate, because he has a proven record of doing so every day in the State Assembly. As an educator and a legislator, I want Mark Spreitzer to be our next State Senator.”

Representative Don Vruwink has served as the Representative for the 43rd Assembly District since 2017. Prior to serving in the State Assembly, Rep. Vruwink taught history and was a football, basketball and softball coach at Milton High School from 1979 to 2011. Rep. Vruwink served on the Milton City Council from 2011 to 2015, including serving as Council President in 2015, and served on the Milton School Board from 2016 to 2019.

“I am proud to endorse Mark for the State Senate,” said Rep. Conley. “Mark’s experience in state and local government guides him in the legislature – from the bills he introduces and the committees he serves on to the work he does for constituents. Mark’s knowledge of the issues that face our state is a resource that we need working for us in Madison.”

Representative Sue Conley has served as the Representative for the 44th Assembly District since 2021. Rep. Conley served on the Janesville City Council from 2017 to 2021, including serving as Council President in 2020. Rep. Conley has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership in Rock County, where she has served as the executive director of the YWCA of Rock County and the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin.

With the endorsement of Reps. Conley and Vruwink, Spreitzer has earned the support of both of the other state representatives whose districts make up the 15th State Senate district.

“I deeply appreciate Sue and Don’s support for my campaign for State Senate,” said Rep. Spreitzer. “Together, we have advocated for our communities in the State Assembly, and it will be an honor to work with Don and Sue on behalf of the 15th State Senate District. We will work together to ensure that our constituents receive the services they deserve and that our district’s priorities are well-represented in the State Legislature.”
