The Republican Governors Association has launched its first TV ad of the general election, accusing Dem Gov. Tony Evers of failing "to keep us safe."
The spot is being done through State Solutions Inc., an affiliate of the RGA. A spokeswoman said the RGA is spending more than $487,000 on the ad, which began last Aug. 13 on broadcast TV in Milwaukee. It runs through this weekend.
