Republican Roger Roth is up with his first TV ad of the campaign, saying he’s running for lieutenant governor to “build Wisconsin back up and stop those trying to tear us down.”
Roth’s campaign said it’s a $250,000 buy on broadcast TV in the Green Bay and Milwaukee markets. It will run through the Aug. 9 primary.
The narrator in the spot says businesses and schools have closed, crime has soared and the cost of living is skyrocketing under Gov. Tony Evers. The narrator adds it’s time to elect “real leaders” like Roth.
The state senator says he’s a husband, father of five, home builder and National Guardsman.
“It’s time to empower parents over Madison bureaucrats, cut taxes and protect our families from criminals,” Roth says.
