NEENAH, WI — Wisconsin Republican candidate for Secretary of State Jay Schroeder announced that he has been endorsed by Wisconsin Right to Life and Pro-Life Wisconsin. Schroeder’s bold pro-life views have set him apart as the only Secretary of State candidate who has been endorsed by both organizations.
Wisconsin Right to Life has a rich history of advocating pro-life values and was founded five years following the Roe v. Wade decision. Wisconsin Right to Life has helped elect pro-life leaders and advance pro-life legislation among other advocacy efforts to protect the unborn.
Schroeder shared the following statement:
“Americans are at a critical crossroad, and the defense of our traditional values
comes down to a matter of life and death for our most vulnerable—unborn babies.
As the only Secretary of State candidate endorsed by both Pro-Life Wisconsin and
Wisconsin Right to Life, I humbly encourage servant leaders to stand in unity on
this matter. After almost 50 years, the Supreme Court has empowered the people
to weigh in at the state level on whether they will condone the ongoing bloodshed
of our unborn children.
Candidates running as servant leaders have a duty to inform potential constituents where they stand when it comes to protecting innocent lives. As your next Secretary of State, my path to serve as an elected official will never be funded by entities who profit from innocent deaths. I will always defend the lives of our unborn children.”
