MADISON– Senator Robert Cowles (R-Green Bay) released the following statement on the passing of community leader and former State Representative William Nickolas “Bill” Vander Loop:
“Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Bill Vander Loop knew that he could have a pleasant conversation with anyone, and anyone who had an opportunity to have a conversation with Bill knew of the passion he had for serving the Fox Valley, the State of Wisconsin, and the United States. Whether it was his service as a veteran, his time on City Counsel, his terms in the State Legislature, or his many other pursuits that made him a well-known and well-respected man throughout the region, Bill’s commitment to his hometown and its people left our region better off because his involvement. My thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family.”
