Madison, WI: This week, we celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Week as we honor those who have taught us so much throughout our lives:

“Education is an ongoing process guided by our teachers, from kindergarten to 12th grade, and beyond. Teachers are invaluable members of our society who help shape our future generations. Every single one of us can think back to our time in school and remember a teacher that really made a difference for us, that encouraged us and believed in us.”

“Teachers who care for their students, and reflect their communities, help strengthen our society and make sure the next generation is ready to seize all the opportunities out there. National Teacher Appreciation Week is a great opportunity for us to express our gratitude towards those who have dedicated their lives to educating our youth. Being a teacher is not easy and at times can be a thankless job. I would encourage everyone to take the time to thank or appreciate a teacher this week as the end of the school year is upon us.”
