Madison, Wis. – Yesterday, Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu (R-Oostberg) announced that Senator Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk) will once again serve as a member of the Joint Committee on Finance (JFC), and will Chair the Senate Committee on Insurance and Small Business for the 2023-24 legislative session.

“I’m honored to be re-appointed to the Joint Committee on Finance. As a member of JFC last session, my colleagues and I worked to craft and introduce a budget bill that included a $3.4 billion tax cut, provided two-thirds funding for K-12 education, and heavily invested in vital infrastructure such as local road and broadband improvements. I look forward to continuing our work to pass reasonable and responsible budgets for the people of Wisconsin”

Sen. Felzkowski currently serves as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Insurance and will continue that role in the upcoming session – along with the new addition of Small Business.

Senator Felzkowski has also been appointed to the following committees: the Senate Committee on Health, the Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Sporting Heritage, and the Joint Legislative Council.
