Madison, Wis. – Today, State Senator Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) was appointed to serve on the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Tourism, Senate Committee on Economic Development and Technical Colleges, Senate Committee on Insurance and Small Business, Senate Committee on Transportation and Local Government, Senate Committee on Universities and Revenue, and Senate Committee on Utilities and Technology. Senator Pfaff was also appointed to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors last week.

Following the committee appointments, Senator Pfaff released this statement:

“These committees reflect the strengths and needs of western Wisconsin. I’m proud to work on these issues in the 2023-24 legislative session as an advocate for farmers, higher education and job training, infrastructure, and economic development both in the Coulee Region and across our state.”

“As the ranking Democratic member of the Agriculture and Tourism Committee and former DATCP Secretary, I‘ll continue to fight for rural Wisconsinites and work to bridge the urban-rural divide to move our state forward.”

“I look forward to strengthening and investing in our small businesses and transportation infrastructure across the rolling hills, coulees, and valleys of the Driftless Region, while ensuring we maintain our strong legacy of family farming in the 32nd Senate District.”
