(Onalaska, WI)— This morning, Senator Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) released the following statement on interim UW-System President Tommy Thompson’s intention to step down from his position.
“I appreciate interim President Thompson’s leadership over the past 18 months. The University of Wisconsin System is an important asset for our state, providing our residents high-quality education that prepares them for the jobs of today and tomorrow.”
“Students and researchers come to Wisconsin because of our strong work ethic, friendly people, and rich educational tradition. President Thompson has been an ambassador for everything we have to offer.”
